Between March 2014 and May 2019, I have traveled less with the exception of an 11-day exploration of Zimbabwe from 19 September 2016 to 3 October 2016.
My struggle with health and financial difficulties stifled my passion for travel but didn’t kill it. I am still consider a traveler by any long shot and still stand by the Star trek mantra “go boldly where no one has ever gone before”.
Why I am I blubbing about travel this morning?
Because a friend of mine was complaining of exhaustion and would take a 5 day travel outside our country. Then it came to my mind; why not blog about travel since you like it?
Travel has extensive health and social benefits you can read about in the internet. Latest research shows that travel trump other relaxing strategies.
Research aside, the eminent American writer & publisher, Mark Twain, perhaps captures the spirit of travel with words beneath.
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime”
Well said.
Thus travel is education.
When you travel, you seek and when you seek, you begin to view the world differently.
Which places can I visit?
You can visit anywhere where it is relatively safe to visit. You can places in your town, county, village, country or go international.
Take time and travel the world.
You will see the change…
